My Story
For over 30 years, I have worked in a variety of roles and settings in education. Grounded in my years as an elementary classroom teacher, I have taught in universities in both undergraduate and graduate teacher education, been an instructional coach and district mathematics specialist in K-12 public schools, and worked as a curriculum and professional learning specialist for a major publisher of elementary mathematics curriculum.
I have led professional learning both in person and remotely in over 100 schools and districts across the United States, as well as in international schools overseas. I sing in several choirs, dote on my Lakeland Terrier, and disgracefully neglect my houseplants.
